At Percy, we’re building new ways to help talented professionals find meaningful careers at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We’re currently seeking a Construction Project Manager to lead capital projects across a national portfolio of student living properties. 

This is a prime opportunity for an experienced construction leader to make an impact on high-profile student housing communities, working closely with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The ideal candidate will be based in Chicago (Fulton Market area) and be comfortable with regular nationwide travel.

Responsibilities

• Manage partner relationships with on-site teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders

• Oversee capital projects from estimating and budgeting through completion and closeout

• Maintain project schedules and ensure delivery on time and within budget

• Support due diligence for acquisitions and maintain accurate project documentation

• Communicate safety and compliance needs; adjust project scope and deliverables as required

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ progressive construction/capital project management experience

• Strong background in estimating, scheduling, and budget control

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; ability to safely navigate construction sites

• Proficiency with Procore, Profiler, Excel, and MS Project

• Willingness to travel up to 50% and work on-site 4–5 days per week in Chicago
