This is a prime opportunity for an experienced property manager who's ready to take full ownership of a newer asset with strong market performance. The property is only 5 years old and has historically performed well, offering the right candidate the chance to step into an established operation and drive it to the next level. You'll have the autonomy to lead your team, manage operations, and make decisions that directly impact property success without needing constant direction. This role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, takes initiative, and can confidently present results to ownership.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations of a 500+ bed student housing property

• Lead and support a team, including a Leasing Manager and Assistant General Manager

• Manage property financials, including budgets, NOI, P&L, and variance reports

• Drive leasing performance and ensure proper follow-up on all lease activity

• Present property performance and market insights confidently to ownership

Qualifications

• 2+ years of student housing property management experience

• Proven ability to take ownership and drive success independently without constant oversight

• Resilience under pressure and ability to overcome obstacles when challenges arise

• Strong grasp of property operations and market dynamics

• Effective leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
