We're currently seeking a reliable Roving Maintenance Technician to support scattered-site apartments and rental homes across Los Angeles and San Diego, CA.

This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who enjoys variety and working independently. You’ll start your day from home, drive directly to your first service location, and wrap up by heading home from your last stop. If you’re comfortable troubleshooting across core trades, navigating a changing schedule, and taking pride in getting the job done right, this is a strong long-term opportunity with room to grow as the regional maintenance team expands.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service requests and repairs across scattered-site apartments and rental homes within your assigned territory

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry items (doors, windows, drywall, flooring)

• Perform unit turns and make-ready work to company standards

• Use mobile apps/tablets to manage work orders, updates, and documentation

• Stay productive when schedules change by identifying additional billable maintenance needs onsite

Qualifications

• 3+ years of property maintenance experience (multifamily, residential, or similar); handyman backgrounds welcome

• Ability to work independently across multiple sites with minimal direct supervision (roving or multi-site experience strongly preferred)

• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair (EPA 608 a plus)

• Must have your own tools and a truck or van capable of transporting them, plus a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Comfortable driving throughout Los Angeles or San Diego County as part of the daily routine

• Total compensation range: approximately $58,000 to $76,000+ annually (up to $30/hr base pay plus mileage reimbursement; top end includes $30/hr and mileage that can add meaningful additional take-home)
