We're currently seeking a Roving Maintenance Technician to support scattered-site apartments and rental homes across Los Angeles and/or San Diego County.

This role is ideal for an independent, hands-on technician who enjoys variety and can manage their day without reporting to the same property every morning. You’ll start from home, drive to your first work order, and finish your day from your last stop, with mileage reimbursement on top of hourly pay and clear growth potential as the maintenance organization continues to expand.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily service requests across a scattered-site portfolio within your assigned territory

• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, and general carpentry items (doors, windows, drywall, flooring)

• Perform unit turns and make-ready work to company standards

• Use mobile apps/tablet tools to receive, document, and close work orders

• Stay productive when schedules change by identifying additional billable maintenance needs onsite

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential or multifamily maintenance experience (handyman backgrounds welcome)

• Strong working knowledge across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance repair

• Prior roving, multi-site, or scattered-site maintenance experience strongly preferred

• Must have your own tools plus a truck or van capable of transporting them; valid driver’s license and clean driving record

• Comfortable working independently and driving throughout LA or San Diego traffic patterns

Perks

• Total compensation range of approximately $72,000 to $76,000+, including base pay plus mileage reimbursement (top end: $30/hr base, plus mileage reimbursement)
