At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to join the onsite team at a 350+ unit apartment community in Sandy Springs, GA (MARTA-adjacent).

This is a true technician role, not a punch-only position. You’ll handle a steady flow of resident work orders and help keep a large, active community running smoothly, with support from an experienced maintenance leadership team. The right candidate brings solid multifamily maintenance fundamentals, takes ownership of work orders end-to-end, and can be counted on for reliable attendance and on-call response.

If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.

Responsibilities

  • Complete resident work orders across plumbing, appliance repair/replacement, and basic electrical troubleshooting

  • Support unit turns and make-ready work to community standards as directed by maintenance leadership

  • Participate in an on-call rotation (approximately 2 weeks out of every 6) with a required response time within 1 hour

  • Coordinate with the office team on resident communication, scheduling, and access for repairs and inspections

  • Help maintain organized shops, tools, and parts inventory to support high work order volume

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of residential apartment maintenance experience (multifamily required)

  • Strong skills in plumbing, appliances, and basic electrical (beyond light bulbs and filters)

  • Reliable transportation and the ability to consistently meet on-call response expectations within 1 hour

  • Comfort working in a higher-volume environment with frequent weekend work orders

  • EPA certification is a plus but not required

Perks

  • Total compensation range of approximately $47,000 to $52,000 (includes base pay plus bonus/allowances), with top-end base pay of $22/hour

  • Cell phone allowance and an on-call rotation that is less than one-third of the year

  • Housing discount of 20% if you choose to live onsite (up to a 2-bedroom)

  • One-round interview process with fast turnaround

  • Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO
