We're currently seeking a Senior Off-Site Maintenance Technician to support a well-maintained affordable/LIHTC apartment community in Oceanport, NJ.

This is a steady upkeep role, not a turnaround. You’ll be the go-to tech handling day-to-day maintenance, work orders, and make-readies, with on-call and snow responsibilities during severe weather. The right candidate is hands-on, dependable, and able to reliably commute in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Complete daily work orders and preventative maintenance across the community

• Perform apartment make-readies/turns to support timely move-ins

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, and minor HVAC issues

• Participate in an on-call rotation and respond to urgent maintenance needs, including weekends as needed

• Handle snow and severe-weather duties including clearing and salting walkways and common areas

Qualifications

• Several years of well-rounded maintenance experience (apartments preferred, but handyman or commercial backgrounds welcome)

• Strong hands-on skills in electrical, plumbing, and minor HVAC troubleshooting

• Ability to reliably commute from within approximately 30 minutes of Oceanport and report in during severe weather

• Comfortable with on-call responsibilities and snow removal duties

• Self-directed, dependable, and confident operating as the primary on-site technician

Perks

• Total compensation range of approximately $55,000 to $64,000 (base pay plus bonus potential), with top-end base pay up to about $27/hour and annual bonus potential of 5% to 15%
