We're currently seeking an outgoing, student-focused Leasing Manager to lead leasing efforts at a 400+ bed purpose-built student housing community near Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, NC.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-energy, resident-facing environment and can lead a small leasing team while keeping a near-full community performing strong through renewals. Student housing experience is a plus, but not required. If you bring the personality, sales drive, and social media comfort, you’ll have the support and runway to grow.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day leasing operations for a 400+ bed student housing community leased by the bed

• Coach and oversee a small team of community assistants to hit leasing and renewal goals

• Drive resident engagement and renewals through strong follow-up, events, and relationship-building

• Create and execute social media content to support leasing velocity and campus visibility

• Support peak-season operations including game-day coverage and the summer turn period

Qualifications

• Outgoing, personable communication style and strong comfort working with college students

• Sales, leasing, hospitality, or retail experience with a track record of closing and follow-through

• Comfort creating social media content for marketing (especially Instagram-style content)

• Ability to lead and motivate a small team in a fast-paced environment

• Schedule flexibility for some football Saturdays, select weeknight events, and a busy summer turn with physical work

Perks

• Total compensation range of approximately $37,000 to $50,000 (base pay plus commissions and bonus potential), with top-end earnings around $50,000 for strong performers

• Base pay range of $18 to $22 per hour depending on experience, plus leasing commissions and annual bonus opportunities
