At Percy, we're building new ways to connect talented professionals with meaningful career opportunities at leading companies in the multifamily industry. We're currently seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations across a clustered student housing portfolio near the University of North Texas in Denton, TX.

This is a high-impact turnaround role for a field-first leader who thrives in older, mechanically complex buildings and can bring order to a heavy work-order environment. You’ll lead a small team, stay calm under pressure when emergencies hit after hours, and help stabilize operations over the first 6 to 12 months through strong execution and clear communication.

If you'd like to be considered, please submit a resume for review.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day maintenance across a 600+ unit, 900+ bed clustered portfolio

  • Supervise and develop a team of maintenance technicians and porters, including scheduling and on-call coverage

  • Troubleshoot and complete hands-on HVAC and plumbing work, including diagnosing issues and stopping leaks quickly

  • Drive progress on work-order backlog reduction and ongoing rolling unit turns throughout the year

  • Oversee pool care and chemical maintenance, and coordinate vendor support as needed

Qualifications

  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification (required)

  • Strong hands-on plumbing skills, including sweating copper and tracing/isolating leaks

  • Advanced HVAC diagnostics and repair experience (beyond basic preventative maintenance)

  • Experience leading maintenance teams on large multifamily/student housing assets or comparable crew-led environments

  • Ability to live within approximately 40 minutes of Denton and respond quickly as the after-hours escalation point

Perks

  • Total compensation range of $75,000 to $88,000 (base plus bonus potential), including top-end base of $80,000 and 10% bonus paid quarterly

  • Company-paid training support, including CPO certification (required to obtain) and boiler/chiller training as needed

  • Fast hiring process with a single interview round and quick decision-making

  • Full benefits package including all major insurance, 401k, and PTO

  • Work for a nationwide company that can offer growth and stability
